Contact enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us directly, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to pre-contractual communications; or, where you are an existing client, performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Analytics data. With your explicit consent only, we collect anonymised data via Google Analytics 4 — including pages visited, session duration, device type, and general geographic region (country/city level). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Essential cookies. Certain cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function (e.g. your cookie preference itself). These are set regardless of consent and do not require it under the ePrivacy Directive.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR), nor data relating to children under 16.
Contact enquiry data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, to fulfil a client engagement. Analytics data is used to understand how visitors interact with our site so we can improve it. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. No other third parties receive your personal data unless we are legally required to disclose it (e.g. by court order), in which case we will notify you where legally permitted to do so.
Our operations are based in the UK and EEA. Where data is transferred outside these regions (for example, through Google Analytics infrastructure), such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted pursuant to Article 46(2)(c) GDPR and the UK IDTA.
Contact enquiry data is retained for 24 months from last contact, or until you request deletion, whichever is sooner. Where an enquiry leads to a client engagement, data may be retained for the duration of the relationship and up to 6 years thereafter for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics default settings (26 months), after which it is automatically deleted.
